About the Intellect Medicos guides library

Intellect Medicos publishes guides for doctors preparing for the MRCP Part 1 and MRCP Part 2 examinations. Four guides are published. The first explains what MRCP(UK) is and what Part 1, Part 2 Written and PACES each test, with the format of each examination, the pass marks, eligibility, the limit on attempts, fees and exam dates, written by Dr Chirag Madaan. The second gives the MRCP Part 1 exam dates for 2026 and 2027, with every application window, reasonable adjustment deadline and results date, written by Dr Mustafa Baig. The third is a personal account of preparing for MRCP Part 1 as an international medical graduate while working full time as an IMT3 trainee in the NHS, written by Dr Vidhyashri. The fourth analyses the MRCP Part 1 pass rates for the September 2025, January 2026 and May 2026 diets from the Federation's own performance reports, with the pass marks, the number of correct answers needed to pass each paper, the pass rates for UK trainees, UK graduates and doctors outside UK training, and the lowest and highest scoring topics in each diet, written by Dr Mustafa Baig. The guides are framed in UK clinical practice and prioritise NICE guidelines and the British National Formulary. Intellect Medicos is an MRCP coaching provider founded by Dr Chirag Madaan.
